Warlords: Deckbuilding Autobattler
A roguelite deckbuilder that resolves like a battle. Draft themed packs, muster a warband, climb a branching war map, break 6 act bosses and take the crown — solo, or in online co-op with up to 4 warlords.
Coming to Steam Early Access, November 2026.
How it plays
Drop a card, get a squad
You place each card straight onto the battlefield and a squad of soldiers, a spell, a trap or a siege engine springs to life exactly where it landed. Wall a chokepoint, flank the line, screen your archers. Then press End Turn, and the whole field moves at once — no lanes, no taking turns, just the clash you set up playing out in real time.
Draft your whole identity
Every run opens with a draft: 21 themed card packs, of which you take three. Armored legions, spider broods, walking bombs, con artists, love sorcery, splitting slimes, rising ghosts. Those three packs become your entire card pool — and your commander is assembled out of them too, so no two runs look or play the same.
Bosses that change the rules mid-fight
Each of the 6 act bosses hides a signature phase that flips the battle you thought you were winning. Cut the Bone Hierarch to half health and the dead rise. Strike the Bloom-Margravine and the whole garden erupts. Between them stand 41 named lords, each with its own army, its own tactics and its own dirty trick.
March as a war council
Online co-op for two to 4 warlords. Everyone drafts their own packs and plays their own hand, but you share one battlefield, one map and one fate. Vote the route, suggest picks in a friend's draft, scrawl battle plans straight onto the field. The clash begins when every crown is ready.
The road between battles bites back
129 hand-written events sit between the fights. Haunted shrines, crooked gamblers, going-away gifts from Uncle Jim, and a wheel of fate that can crown you or curse you. Read the room, weigh the odds, decide what your army is willing to pay.
Everything in it
Every number here is read out of the live build by a script, not typed by hand.
